This beautiful house in Wiltshire is home to The Bradley House butler school, a residential course designed using the knowledge and experience of its founder, Mr. Haynes, to teach the skills required of a traditional and modern butler.
The course caters for those with no previous experience, but can also be useful for any employer wishing to add to the expertise of his or her current domestic staff, and to catering industry professionals looking for a change of career.
The house belongs to His Grace the Duke of Somerset and is situated in charming countryside around 20 miles from the city of Bath.
Adjoining the house is the peaceful village of Maiden Bradley.
For the duration of their stay each student is accommodated in one of the bedrooms of this remarkable property.

Foreword by the Duke & Duchess of Somerset
We have both known Mr. Haynes for many years now, having first become acquainted with him as the head butler at the home of an old friend.
The house in question was run with considerable efficiency, despite being a demanding and extremely busy focal point for formal entertaining on a grand scale.
We are very pleased that he has decided that Bradley House offers the perfect environment in which he and his team can teach all the fundamentals of the role of butler, both in its traditional and modern form, and confident that those of you who decide to attend the course will leave not only with the perfect grounding for a future career but also with happy memories of your stay
